Nutrition Workshop: Nutrition Facts Label (Zoom)

Space limited to 25 attendees. Registration required. Event password will be emailed to registrants the day before the event.

In this workshop, SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educators Victoria and Zakiya will help you learn how to identify the information available on the nutrition facts label. Understand the benefits of how to evaluate the nutrient content on the nutrition facts label. You will also learn how to make healthy food choices based on the ability to read the nutrition facts label.

Calligraphy Workshop (Zoom)

Calligraphy is the art of writing with fancy letters used in invitations, greeting cards and  manuscripts. Join Roberta Hodes for a demonstration of the techniques used with the pen and nibs. She will also show samples with gold and silver embellishments.

Roberta Hodes was a special art teacher for 35 years in Ossining, NY. She now teaches art classes at the Monroe Township Senior Center and Library and in several communities in the area.
