Take the Plunge: Teen Winter Reading Challenge

Teens in grades 8-12 are invited to hone their literacy skills with the Winter Reading Challenge! Pick up a BINGO board at the Teen Space desk anytime you're at the library. 

Complete tasks such as reading a book with a blue cover, re-reading a favorite cozy book, writing a letter to a family member or friend who lives far away, or even taking a walk around the duck pond! Get five in a row for a BINGO to claim a prize book.

The challenge begins on Monday, December 1 and teens can pick up their prizes anytime from then until to Saturday, January 31.

Mindful Holiday Snow Globes

Wednesday, December 3, 5:00-6:00PM

Join us for a mesmerizing and magical holiday workshop where you'll make a one-of-a-kind snow globe!  We'll discover how mindfulness tools can help us settle, just like our snowy creations.  Supplies, light refreshments, and managing holiday stress resources for parents provided!

For kids of all ages, with an adult.  Teens are welcome to attend!

Limited space!  Free tickets for this event are available at the children's desk the day of the event, beginning at 4:30PM.
