Crush Your College Interview! (Ages 14–18)

Interviews can be nerve-wracking—but they don’t have to be. Join us on Zoom for an
interactive group session where you’ll learn what to expect in a college interview and get to
practice with mock interviews in a fun, supportive environment.
-Group Session: 6:30–7:30 PM (includes mock interviews!)
-Individual Support: 7:30–8:30 PM (optional)

Ready for Your First Job? (Ages 14–18)

Not sure what you need to land your first job? We’ve got you covered! Join us on Zoom for a
laid-back, info-filled session where we’ll talk about what employers look for, how the hiring
process works, and what paperwork minors need to get started. We’ll also cover tips for
interviews, work permits, and how to stand out (in a good way!).
-Group Chat: 6:30–7:30 PM
-One-on-One Help: 7:30–8:30 PM (optional)
Whether you're job-hunting now or just getting ready, this session will help you feel
confident and prepared.

College 101: What You Really Need to Know (Ages 14–18)

Thinking about college but not sure where to start? Join us on Zoom for a chill, info-packed
session that breaks down the basics—like what a major is, how dorming compares to
commuting, what you actually need to bring, and how to take care of yourself while you're
there.
-Group Chat: 6:30–7:30 PM
-One-on-One Help: 7:30–8:30 PM (optional)

Teen Resume Building Group (Ages 14–18)

Join us on Zoom for a virtual group session focused on helping teens build strong resumes
for job or college applications. Participants will receive a customizable resume template
and have the chance to ask questions about their personal resumes.
-Group Session: 6:30–7:30 PM
-Individual Assistance: 7:30–8:30 PM (optional)

SPOTS! (Sun Protection Outreach Teaching by Students)

Think protecting yourself from the sun isn't a concern this time of year?  Think again!

Join Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School students to discover important information about sun protection and skin cancer prevention & detection.  This is a fun and interactive presentation emphasizing the importance of skin cancer prevention for everyone!

Recommended for families with kids in 1st grade and up.  Tweens, teens, and parents/caregivers welcome!

Sensory Friendly Browsing Hour

Join us for a special sensory-friendly hour at the library, held before public hours.

This dedicated time is designed to offer a quieter, calmer library experience for children, teens, and adults with sensory sensitivities, along with their families or guardians.

The library will be open only to registered participants during this hour, providing a safe, low-stimulation environment to browse, read, use the computers and explore before regular public hours begin.

Rising Voices: Public Speaking

Join TAG volunteer Rafaela to learn about public speaking in an informative 4-week workshop.

This program is designed to help tweens and teens improve their presentational articulation, pacing, and confidence. It will also go over strategies to raise one’s voice, reduce stage fright, and when to use hand gestures.
