Fine Motor Skills Bootcamp (Ages 2-4 Registration Required)

What do tying shoes, holding pencils, and buttoning shirts have in common? They all use fine motor skills! Helping your child develop fine motor skills at a young age will give them building blocks for success as they get older. Join us for a fine motor skills bootcamp to learn more about why fine motor skills are so important, get ideas for how to improve them at home, and give your child a chance to try a few activities themselves! This program is for children ages 2-4. Space is limited and registration is required. Please call the children's department at 732-390-6789 to register.

Makers Day

Join us on Saturday, April 29 from 10:00am to 4:00pm for our very own Makers Day! With a focus on hands-on creativity and making through play, we'll be offering all-ages activities and hands-on learning opportunities for visitors and members of our community.

For the full schedule, visit https://ilove.ebpl.org/maker.

This event is sponsored by the East Brunswick Friends of the Library.

Stitch in Public Day

This event is now indoors.

Join us in Meeting Room 3 to celebrate Worldwide Knit/Crochet in Public Day! Connect with your fellow patrons and enjoy the outdoors while working on a knit/crocheted project from home (or start something brand new)!

New for 2023 are the Yarn Swap (bring your unwanted skeins) and Mystery Yarn Grab Bag Raffle - be sure to stop by our welcome table for handouts and more!

In case of inclement weather, this event will be moved to Meeting Room 3. Please bring your own chair/food/drink.
