Get Pumped Up About Heart Health: Diabetes Workshop & Blood Pressure Screenings

The HEAL Team (Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School students) return to the library to share information about diabetes and hypertension, both of which impact blood pressure.

Following the program, there will be a physician conducting free blood pressure screenings, and students will be there to help calculate BMI and fat percentages

• Learn white cane safety tips for people who are sighted

• Practice proper sighted guide

• Learn about library programs for the visually impaired.

• See and learn about the white cane and braille!
