Kids are invited to drop by the Friends of the Library Book and Media Sale at the Brunswick Square Mall to make a quick craft and catch a glimpse of a children's librarian off-site!  Then browse the sale to see if there's a just-right bargain that you can't resist taking home!

Learn about Navratri and Dussehra at this vibrant kids' workshop!  Explore India's diverse traditions of Navratri and Dussehra with a display board and walkthrough, strike a pose at a fun photo booth with playful props and costumes, unleash your creativity by decorating your own Dandiya sticks, and learn Dandiya dance from a professional Indian classical dancer.  Get ready for fun, culture, and celebration!  Program curated by award-winning children's author Priya Kumari.  

Recommended especially for ages 3-10 with an adult, but all ages welcome.

Families with children of all ages are welcome to join in this community service effort! 

It's time for us to send another package to our partners at Color a Smile, a nonprofit organization that distributes cheerful drawings to seniors, troops overseas, patients in the hospital, and anyone in need of some cheer. 

Stop by and chat with students from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Students will be handing out information about Heart Health, First Aid, and Summer Safety. You’ll find students at tables located at the entrance to the library; in the Youth Services department, and in the Senior Center. The medical school will be handing out water bottles and sunscreen as free giveaways!

Hear stories about fathers and do a craft

Make a cool dish for dad to put his keys and change in! All ages are welcome, but children under 18 must be accompanied by a caregiver.
