Meet a Future Doctor!

Thursday, July 23, 11:00-4:00

Thinking about a career in medicine?  Join us for Day of Service, an exciting annual event when first-year medical students from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School visit the library to share health and wellness information and meet library patrons.  This is a great opportunity for kids and teens who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine to stop by and talk with the med students about the educational paths they took to get to this point!  (Please note, medical students are happy to share their personal experiences and insights, but they are not college or career counselors and cannot provide specific advice.)

The students will also be sharing giveaways and wellness information for kids, teens, and families.

For families with kids & teens of all ages.  Stop by between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM!

Current TAG volunteers can earn 30 minutes of community service credit by visiting with the medical students and using the code word in an after-program survey.
