Bilingual English/Spanish Readaloud

Join us for a local author reading of two bilingual picture books: 

- El Barrio Mío / My Neighborhood, which features the language learning journey of a young African-American girl as she travels through her community where English and Spanish come together to make a beautiful bilingual barrio,

and

- Our Pre-K Pantry, which helps young dual-language learners explore food, community, and sharing in a fun and meaningful way through simple language and colorful moments for children to learn about healthy choices, kindness, and the power of working together.

Additional bilingual activities will be available at the conclusion of the reading, including coloring and a round of BINGO!

This event is most appropriate for children in grades K-4.
