Virtual Cooking Class for Children: Cupcakes!

Just in time for Memorial Day, learn how to make hot dog cupcakes through this virtual cooking class from Green Apron Kitchen.

If you want to follow along with the recipe, here are the ingredients and supplies needed:

Cupcakes*

• 1/4 cup butter room temperature
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 3 eggs room temperature
• 1/4 cup warm water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Frosting

• 3 cups powdered sugar
• 3 tablespoons whole milk
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• food coloring

Tools

• piping/plastic bag
