You can’t build a life you can’t picture!! That’s not a slogan. Your attention follows whatever you keep in front of you. Put a clear picture somewhere you’ll see it daily, and your brain will quietly start noticing the doors, people, and openings that match it. A vision board is one of the simplest ways to start.
Join us for a free, guided vision board workshop offered by Ekta Karuna Coaching. Ekta Karuna is a holistic, whole-person coaching practice in Metuchen, New Jersey.
This workshop combines the principles of Narrative Medicine with creative visual art practices to help participants explore and tell their healthcare stories. Using guided art activities, close reading, and reflective writing, participants will discover new ways to express their experiences, strengthen self-advocacy skills, and become more active participants in their care.
Journaling is a powerful practice for self-reflection, emotional well-being, and personal growth. By putting thoughts, feelings, and experiences onto paper, individuals create space for greater self-awareness, stress reduction, and creative exploration. While traditional journaling relies primarily on words, combining writing with visual art can deepen the reflective process and unlock new forms of expression.
Workshop Objectives
● Introduce journaling as a tool for self-reflection, mindfulness, and stress reduction.
This workshop introduces participants to Neurographic Art, a form of process art that emphasizes relaxation, mindfulness, and emotional expression rather than artistic skill. Neurographic Art was developed by Pavel Piskarev as a method for processing emotions and promoting relaxation through creative practice. Participants will engage in a calming, creative process designed to encourage self-reflection and reduce stress.
