This presentation, led by Professor Randall Westbrook, will explore the origins and meanings of the famed Harlem Renaissance.  This will be hosted on Zoom, and instructions to connect are listed below.  More than a nostalgic look at the works of people like Langston Hughes, Zora Neale Hurston and others, the talk will also explore the social and political significance of the period, what we can learn from it, and how it relates to modern day developments.
