Getting organized doesn't have to be scary! Join us for a back-to-school event to decorate your own notebook and pick up new resources to start they year off right! Materials and light refreshments provided. Feel free to wear a Halloween costume if you'd like!

Come join us to create a Moving Caterpillar Craft.
Ages 5+
Tweens and teens in 4th grade and up are invited to this fun and interactive workshop! Explore perspective, emotional regulation, gratitude, and mindfulness, and learn to recognize greatness in yourself and others. Through discussion and engaging activities, tweens and teens will learn practical strategies for managing emotions, building self-awareness, and strengthening positive relationships.
Light refreshments will be served.

Meet with representatives from New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services (NJ4S) and learn about services they provide to families with children in grades K through 12. NJ4S is a prevention program that supports youth mental wellness and can connect students and their parents/caregivers with other community resources beneficial to social, emotional, and mental health and well-being, including clinical and non-clinical resources.

September is Suicide Prevention Month, and NJ4S is bringing the conversation to the library's lobby. Learn to recognize warning signs and gather resources to help you and your loved ones talk about suicide prevention.

Drop by the children's library to create fall-themed ornaments using tissue paper, cardstock, ribbon, and other craft materials. Choose between a leaf or an owl design (while supplies last). Be as creative as you want!
