Let Us Spring Into Wellness Together!
April is a meaningful month at East Brunswick Public Library, and I’m excited to share that there is so much happening related to social work, connection, and community care. I am especially looking forward to our first Stress Less Day on Saturday, April 11, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
This event is shaping up to be such a special opportunity for community members to come together, engage in wellness-centered activities, and connect with supportive resources in an open and welcoming space. I hope many of you will stop by and be part of it.
Throughout April, I will continue to be available for support at the library on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. I will also be available on Saturday, April 4, from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm in person, with virtual sessions available that evening by popular demand. This will be the last Saturday I am available, as the following weekend will be dedicated to Stress Less Day. My final day at EBPL will be Tuesday, April 21.
As I begin to prepare for the close of this chapter, I want to say how incredibly grateful I am for the opportunity to have been part of this community. It has been such a privilege to hold space for patrons, offer support, and witness the strength, vulnerability, and resilience people carry with them every day. Thank you for trusting me, for sharing parts of your stories with me, and for allowing me to be part of your journey in ways both big and small. This experience has meant so much to me, and I will carry it with me long after my time at EBPL ends.
