Black Health Awareness Table

Stop by the library lobby July 6-13 as we create awareness about Black Health and focus on reducing health disparities, improving access to care, and promoting health equity for African American community. Black health is characterized by significant inequalities, with higher rates of chronic conditions, like hypertention, obesity, heart disease and mental health.

 

 

 

New Year, New Goals!

Wednesday, January 14, 5:00-6:00PM

Join the staff of NJ4S and create your personal vision board for 2026.  A vision board is a poster or collage where you can visually represent your dreams and goals.  Reflect on how you'd like to grow and the experiences you're looking for in 2026, and get it all down on an inspiring poster you can hang in your room!

For kids of all ages, with an adult.  Teens are welcome to attend!

Limited space!  Free tickets for this event are available at the children's desk the day of the event, beginning at 4:30PM.

Let’s celebrate the Lunar New Year together by learning a few healthy and lucky phrases with the NAMI NJ CAMHOP (Chinese American Mental Health Outreach Program) coordinator to bring in the new year!

This tabling event with the coordinator of NAMI NJ CAMHOP will also provide information on mental health support groups, mental health related social gatherings, training, education programs and professional lists.
