EBAstro Satellites, Space Probes & more (Hybrid)

May 21 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Can't join us in-person? Click here to join us on Zoom.

Join us for East Brunswick Astronomy Club's seasonal kids' meeting where we'll be learning all about the things we send to space. Kevin Champignon, EBAC youth presenter, will be showing us the common things humans have sent to space, including probes, rovers, satellites, and landers.

Think you have what it takes to make a lander? After the presentation, attendees are invited to participate in a lander build challenge. Using simple items, children and families will see if they can safely drop and land an egg without it cracking.
Provided we have clear skies, telescopes will also be available for night sky gazing. Have your own? Bring it! We can even help you set it up.
