Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Rutgers University (OLLI-RU) offers adults age 50+ the opportunity to learn for the joy of it in a welcoming, non-competitive environment. OLLI-RU provides a wide range of non-credit courses taught by University professors and subject matter experts with topics spanning literature, history, art, classic cinema and TV, technology and many other subjects. Classes are offered in flexible formats--including in-person, Zoom and hybrid options!
Reduce your library fines and help the community through December 31.
Do you have fines on your library card? East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) is offering a chance to reduce those fines and help the community, now through December 31.
Through the Food For Fines program, library cardholders can have their overdue fines reduced by donating non-perishable food. The library will waive $3.00 in fines for every item donated, with a maximum of $30 waived per library card.
You are invited to a screening of Estelle: Matron of the Arts. Sunday, February 8, at 2:00 pm.
