Giving back to the community can benefit small businesses as well as their customers. Many businesses in East Brunswick donate money, goods, services and time; sponsor and participate in events; and hire or mentor local citizens. Here are some ideas for why and how to give back to the community:
Dine and buy locally to support small businesses on Saturday, November 29, and all year long! Small Business Saturday was founded by American Express in 2010 and officially cosponsored by the Small Business Administration since 2011. It is an important part of small businesses’ busiest shopping season. Businesses can find out how to participate at the American Express Shop Small Resource Hub.
The library will have a delayed opening for the public on Monday, November 17, at 10:00 am. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.
The Small Business Administration offers support for veterans as they enter the world of business ownership with funding programs, training, and federal contracting opportunities.
