Kids ages 3 years and up, with an adult, are invited to stop by the children's section to create a cute, silly, health-themed magnet. We'll be making magnets that look like fruits, veggies, and even tubes of sunscreen!
This fun event coincides with the annual Day of Service, when first-year medical students from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School visit the library to share health and wellness information and meet library patrons.

Thinking about a career in medicine? Join us for Day of Service, an exciting annual event when first-year medical students from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School visit the library to share health and wellness information about summer safety and meet library patrons. This is a great opportunity for kids and teens who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine to stop by and talk with the med students about the educational paths they took to get to this point! (Please note, medical students are able to share their personal experiences, but they are not college or career couns
Let's explore with some simple art supplies! Rather than focusing on a specific project, we'll try out different tools and techniques each month.
This month we'll experiment with using watercolor gel crayons. First we draw with them, then we paint over them with water! These are washable paints, but please do not wear your finest!
Class begins at 10:00 and we'll clean up together at 10:45.
Recommended for ages 3 and up, with an adult.
