NJ Makers Day is a celebration of maker culture across New Jersey. This all-ages event connects individuals with libraries, schools, businesses, and independent makerspaces that support making, tinkering, crafting, manufacturing, and STEM-based learning.

Visit with staff from the Rutgers Quantitative Development Lab at their table in the library. Children are encouraged to play a few short mathematics-based games while parents can learn about the university's Center for Cognitive Studies and how they can get involved!
Join us for a special sensory-friendly hour at the library, held before public hours.
This dedicated time is designed to offer a quieter, calmer library experience for children, teens, and adults with sensory sensitivities, along with their families or guardians.
The library will be open only to registered participants during this hour, providing a safe, low-stimulation environment to browse, read, use the computers and explore before regular public hours begin.

The Islamic Center of East Brunswick and the Dawoodi Bohras presents an afternoon dedicated to exploring Muslim heritage and culture, featuring kids activities, arts and crafts, exhibits, Islamic literature, calligraphy, face painting, henna art, interactive displays and more.
