Spring into Self-Care! Mindfulness & More

Wednesday, March 5, 5:00-6:00 PM

Join the staff of NJ4S to create your own self-care flower and fortune teller!  All supplies are provided and light snacks will be served.

For families with kids in kindergarten and up.

NJ4S is a prevention program that supports youth mental wellness and can connect students and their parents/caregivers with other community resources beneficial to social, emotional, and mental health and well-being, including clinical and non-clinical resources.

Stuffed Animal Clinic

Bring your cutest stuffed animals and give them a checkup, just like a real doctor!

 

Kids will learn from future doctors how to perform the doctor's exam, including taking their temperature, listening to the heart, and putting on a bandaid.

Sometimes the Panicosaurus tricks Mabel's brain into panicking about certain challenges, such as walking past a big dog on the street or when her favourite teacher is not at school. With the help of Smartosaurus, who lets her know there is really nothing to be afraid of, Mabel discovers different ways to manage Panicosaurus, and defeat the challenges he creates for her.
