Fossil Footprints

Staff from the Rutgers University Geology Museum will talk about fossils, how they are made, and show a few examples. Participants will also get to make their own fossil trackways using stamps!

For ages 3 and up with an adult.

Spaces are limited so please arrive a few minutes early.

Meet the Wolves!

Registration for this program is full.  We regret that we cannot accommodate walk-ins.

Howling Woods Farm, a rescue shelter for domestic bred wolves and wolf dogs, will visit the library and talk about the evolution of wolves, their physical attributes, comunication, pack structure and more.  After the presentation there will be a "Meet and Greet" with the wolves.

All ages are welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Girls Who Code Club for 3-5th gr. (Online)

 

Girls Who Code club for 3rd to 5th grade girls will be held during Spring 2023 starting March 8 with 8 meetings on every Wednesday @ 4:30 - 5:30p.m. ) 

Kids will pick up the computer science concept such as order of codes, events, loops, conditionals, function and list through the projects. 

Parents are welcome to learn along with the kids.

Scratch is block-based which is easy to learn and the projects are fun to spark the interest of coding.
