Teen Red Cross Club Meeting

This club offers teens a great way to bring important aspects of health and medical care to their own community. Members will be able to help organize, plan, coordinate, and conduct fun programs which will engage everyone in our community. Volunteers will be able to work with people of different age groups and learn new information about health and Red Cross.

Make a Cute Magnet!

Kids ages 3 years and up, with an adult, are invited to stop by the children's section to create a cute, silly, health-themed magnet.  We'll be making magnets that look like fruits, veggies, and even tubes of sunscreen!

This fun event coincides with the annual Day of Service, when first-year medical students from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School visit the library to share health and wellness information and meet library patrons.

Stop by between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM!

Meet a Future Doctor!

Join us for Day of Service, an exciting annual event when first-year medical students from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School visit the library to share health and wellness information and meet library patrons.  This is a great opportunity for kids and teens who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine to stop by and talk with the med students about the educational paths they took to get to this point!  (Please note, medical students are able to share their personal experiences, but they are not college or career counselors and cannot provide specific advice.)
