Teen Red Cross Club Meeting

This club offers teens a great way to bring important aspects of health and medical care to their own community. Members will be able to help organize, plan, coordinate, and conduct fun programs which will engage everyone in our community. Volunteers will be able to work with people of different age groups and learn new information about health and Red Cross.

Unearth a Museum Mystery

You have one hour to complete a variety of logic puzzles to solve an ancient riddle!

Work with others and combine your wits with this escape room-style museum mystery. Paper crafts will also accompany the larger puzzle story. 

This event is recommended for grades 4 and up. 

Current TAG volunteers can earn 30 minutes of community service credit by attending this program and using the code word in an after-program survey.

Paint-by-Number (Gr. 6+)

Spend an afternoon relaxing afternoon with paint-by-numbers. Choose between cats, coffee, flowers, or cafe scenes. This program is for students entering grades 6+. Participants in the teen summer reading can get a point for attending with the event code!

Free tickets are required and will be handed out half an hour before the program.

Minecraft: Lost Egypt (Gr. 4+)

Step into the boots of a paleontologist in this hands-on archaeology experience. Students will master excavation techniques to recover lost dinosaur bones, apply critical thinking to reconstruct skeletal structures, and learn the art of curation by designing their own museum exhibits.  — Presented by Arrayscape Gaming. Summer Paint Party!

While supplies last, paint a summer suncatcher to catch those rays of sunshine! You can also write inspirational messages on rocks during our summer paint party.

This event is recommended for grades K and up. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy.

Back to School Prep

Summer is winding down, so now is a great time to review some learning and get ready for a new school year! Join the Huntington Learning Center East Brunswick to prepare for a successful start of school. Kids will have an opportunity for a hands-on activity, and parents will receive tips and tools for a smooth transition back to school.

This program is recommended for families with children entering kindergarten and up.
