Paper Halloween Luminaries

Families are invited to make a spooky paper luminary to decorate for Halloween. All ages are welcome to participate with a grown-up.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Each participant will receive one battery-operated tea light, which contains a button battery.  These tea lights MUST be used with adult supervision and kept out of the reach of young children.

Preschool Craft: Paper Ghosts

Preschoolers and their grown-ups can work together to make a cute paper ghost decoration.  We will also have some take-and-make kits available at this time if you are not comfortable making the project at the library.

This project takes about 20 minutes to make.  Please feel free to drop by the library to get started anytime between 10:30 and 11:30.

For ages 2 and up.

Preschool Craft: Fall Tree

Preschoolers and their grown-ups can work together to make a beautiful fall tree paper craft.  We will also have some take-and-make kits available at this time if you are not comfortable making the project at the library.

This project takes about 20 minutes to make.  Please feel free to drop by the library to get started anytime between 10:30 and 11:30.

Unity Craft: Diversity Rocks!

Drop in to participate in this special community art project, in partnership with the Lost Souls Public Memorial Project.  Decorate a rock with paint pens to convey a message of kindness and appreciation for our diverse community.  Once the rocks are dry, our teen volunteers will add them to displays inside the library and eventually, they'll be added to the Human Relations Council's Diversity Rocks area outside, near the municipal pond, Grown-ups, please let children know in advance that their rocks will not be returned to them.
