We are challenging local artists to help create 4 inch by 4 inch two-dimensional art in black and white throughout Maker Month for an April art exhibit.

Kids in kindergarten and up are welcome to make some beautiful scratch art designs on woodland animal shapes. You can create your art at the library or take a kit to complete at home. One kit per participant, as supplies last.
Please note: This program is for children who are in kindergarten and up. This kit contains a pointy plastic stylus and is not appropriate for younger children.
Kids in 3rd grade and up are invited to learn how to cross stitch. You can attend in person or pick up a kit to complete at home. We will be cross stitching on wooden hearts to make a small hanging ornament that would be perfect to keep as a decoration or give as a gift. One kit per participant, as supplies last.
Please note: This program is for children in 3rd grade and older. This kit comes with a plastic sewing needle. It is not appropriate for younger children.
Kids of all ages are welcome to create a tiger craft, in honor of the Lunar New Year!
Kids ages 2 to 7 are invited to create a beautiful paper Valentine to give to someone special!
Time to make your winter bookmarks! Drop by between 4:00 and 5:00 to color a beautiful bookmark for yourself or to give as a gift. Our teen volunteers will run them through the laminator so they'll be sturdy and last for years to come! For all ages.
Adults ages 18 and older can join us for craft time! For July, we are doing acrylic ocean paintings, or feel free to bring your own project and socialize with others.

Kids in kindergarten and up can drop in to make a scratch art leaf or critter. The project takes about 15 minutes to complete and you are welcome to get started between 4:00 and 5:00. We will clean up no later than 5:30.
Please note, this craft is done with a pointy wooden stylus and is not safe for younger children.
