Bookmark Bonanza!

All ages are welcome to create a seasonal stash of Spring bookmarks!  We have great templates to pick from, or you can create your own design.  Color, cut, and laminate for a lasting page-marker to keep or give to someone special.

Scratch Art: Woodland Creatures

Kids in kindergarten and up are welcome to make some beautiful scratch art designs on woodland animal shapes.  You can create your art at the library or take a kit to complete at home.  One kit per participant, as supplies last.

Please note: This program is for children who are in kindergarten and up.  This kit contains a pointy plastic stylus and is not appropriate for younger children.

Cross Stitch Valentines

Kids in 3rd grade and up are invited to learn how to cross stitch.  You can attend in person or pick up a kit to complete at home.  We will be cross stitching on wooden hearts to make a small hanging ornament that would be perfect to keep as a decoration or give as a gift.  One kit per participant, as supplies last.

Please note: This program is for children in 3rd grade and older.  This kit comes with a plastic sewing needle.  It is not appropriate for younger children.

Autumn Scratch Art

Kids in kindergarten and up can drop in to make a scratch art leaf or critter.  The project takes about 15 minutes to complete and you are welcome to get started between 4:00 and 5:00.  We will clean up no later than 5:30.

Please note, this craft is done with a pointy wooden stylus and is not safe for younger children.
