Maker Month: Chalkboard Kit Pickup (Gr. 1+)
It's Maker Month at EBPL, and across NJ libraries!
Kids in 1st grade and older can pick up a kit to make a small chalkboard for memos and messages. One kit per child, as supplies last.
Bookmark Bonanza!
All ages are welcome to create a seasonal stash of Spring bookmarks! We have great templates to pick from, or you can create your own design. Color, cut, and laminate for a lasting page-marker to keep or give to someone special.
Therapy Pets Interactive Session
Join Creature Comfort Pet Therapy to learn about the power of pet therapy, hear how animals and their owners become volunteer teams and experience the calming effects from Creature Comfort volunteers and their loving dogs. You will be able to interact with live animals at this program. Open to all ages.
Online Chess Club for Beginners
An online Chess club for Beginners will be held during Spring 2022.
8 meetings on every Thursday @ 4-5 p.m. from Mar. 3rd to Apr 21st .
We will go through the curriculum from Chesskids.com, watching videos and solving puzzles.
This club is targeted to school age kids with no prior experience in playing chess.
They will pick up the basic rules and strategies of playing chess.
