Teen Volunteer Shreya D. will show you how to extract DNA from a strawberry! Shreya will go through the process and give you the instructions to try on your own later! This is an informational program and you are not expected to follow along.

This program is designed for kids in grades 4th through 6th, but all are welcome to attend.

Please register in advance by clicking "Join Event" to receive the Zoom login information so you have it before the program starts! Details will be re-sent to all registrants a half an hour prior to program start.

Chinese Language and Culture Awareness

Join the Chinese National Honors Society students from East Brunswick High School (EBHS) for a drop-in event focusing on literacy and arts & crafts to promote awareness of Chinese culture.

EBHS students will offer Mandarin tutoring for all school-age children; priority will be given to students who are currently enrolled in the Mandarin program at East Brunswick schools.

In addition, EBHS students will provide cultural crafts and bilingual Chinese-English readalouds of books by Asian-American Pacific Islander (AAPI) authors.

Join TAG volunteer Lilian in the YS programming room for Pokémon Club.

Bring your own Pokémon cards in if you want to trade with others. Each session of the club also features trivia games and other fun activities.
