Join us for some bingo, backyard bird edition! This program is for grades K+. Space is limited and spots are not guaranteed, so please arrive early.

This month Maker Club will be craft pickup kits to take home! Stop by the library every Wednesday in February at 4:00pm to pickup your kit. As supplies last. These kits are for students in grades 1+.

Shreya D., teen volunteer extraordinaire, will demonstrate how to extract DNA from a strawberry.  Shreya will go through the process and give you the instructions to try on your own later!

An online Girls Who Code club for 6-12th grader will be held during Spring 2022.

7 meetings on every other Wednesday @ 5-6 p.m. from Jan 19 to Apr 13

We will learn the introduction to JavaScript together using Intro to JS: Drawing & Animation of Khan Academy.

An online Girls Who Code club for 3rd to 5th grade girls will be held during Spring 2022 ( 7 meetings on every other Wednesday @ 5-6 p.m. from Jan 26  to Apr 20.)

We learn Scratch together doing various projects. 

Kids will pick up the computer science concept such as order of codes, events, loops, conditionals, function and list through the projects.

Scratch is block-based which is easy to learn and the projects are fun to spark the interest of coding.

Come to practice your magnetic dart skill and compete with other players on various dart boards.

Participants and winners will get stamps that can be exchanged for prizes.

Find the best route for the robot to avoid the obstacles and reach the target as fast as possible.

It is an easy and fun game to introduce coding for future coders!

Come to the Chidlren's desk to get a ticket at 2 pm to line up to join the race.

All participants who finish the race will get a prize. The more race you complete, the more prize you get!

Time to make your winter bookmarks!  Drop by between 4:00 and 5:00 to color a beautiful bookmark for yourself or to give as a gift.  Our teen volunteers will run them through the laminator so they'll be sturdy and last for years to come!  For all ages.
