To better understand their culture and impact, East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick, NJ) hosts the Sikh Culture Awareness Day special event on Sunday, April 26 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
This event shares information about the culture and traditions of the Sikh community.

The Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music (BSACAM) at Monmouth University preserves the legacy of Bruce Springsteen and celebrates the history of American music and its diversity of artists and genres. The collection holds close to 50,000 items dating from 1927 to the present. Monmouth University recently announced a new 30,000 square foot building to house the Archives, related exhibition galleries, and a 230 seat, state-of-the-art theater.

Rondalla Strings: Music, Song and Dance
A concert presented by the New Jersey-based University of the Philippines Alumni and Friends Rondalla (UPAFR). Repertoire of this Filipino native string ensemble includes traditional and contemporary music from the Philippines and other countries, light classical music and Broadway themes.

Completed pages will be collected and digitized for online access, as well as being assembled into a physical scrapbook that will be entered into the libary's collection like a time capsule for future generations.
