Learn about NJ's Lead Remediation & Abatement Program

Meet with staff from Garden State Home in the library's lobby to learn about the dangers of lead poisoning and find out if your home may be eligible for free testing and treatment under the New Jersey Lead Remediation and Abatement Program (LRAP).

Lead-based paint hazards exist in most homes built prior to 1978 and can be especially harmful to children and pregnant women.

POSTPONED Mindfulness for Parents and Caregivers of Young Children (Hybrid)

THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED UNTIL A FUTURE DATE.

This event will be held in-person and online, and includes a small children's activity.

Join us for an interactive in-person & virtual mindfulness session for parents and caregivers of babies and young children, age 0-5.

Caring for a baby or a toddler can be physically and emotionally exhausting – whether you’re a new parent/caregiver or if you have years of experience...there is chaos! Take this opportunity to put yourself first.

Watercolor Zentangles

Come relax at EB Create for a meditative painting session!

We will be making watercolor zentangles, as seen on social media. In this method, we will paint shapes or abstract patterns, keeping brushstrokes and negative space as even as possible. The activity has a similar effect on the brain as meditation. Available to Grades 6+.

No registration required -- please arrive 15 minutes prior to reserve your spot.

Pee Wee Playdate

Join us for an open playtime for children from 0-35 months accompanied by an adult. Toys are selected with age and safety guidelines in mind and are suitable for young children. We clean up together at 11:15!
