Stories Out Loud

East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center Drive) celebrates Pride Month by hosting the first-ever Stories Out Loud event on Saturday, June 27, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Everyone is welcome to an all-ages event that brings the community and local LGBTQIA+ friendly groups together. The day includes lively performances, craft projects, hands-on activities, and resource displays from community groups.

Minecraft: Unearth the Giants (Gr. 4+)

Set sail on a high-stakes pirate adventure! Uncover hidden treasures buried deep within mysterious islands, outwit cunning traps guarded by fearsome creatures, and engage in epic naval battles between pirate and hero ships. Navigate treacherous waters, dodge cannonballs, and board enemy vessels to claim victory. — Presented by Arrayscape Gaming. Minecraft logins will be provided. This program is for students grades 4+. Manga Book Club (Gr. 6+)

Manga readers can come together in our new monthly Manga Book Club to talk about new and old favorite titles! For May, we'll be discussing The Summer Hikaru Died. The first volume is available at the library or to read online on Comics Plus. Don't forget to come with suggestions for future titles!

Snacks will be provided.

This program is for students grades 6+ and some of the reading material will not be suitable for younger students.
