Make a Mandala Kaleidocycle!

What's a kaleidocycle?  Good question!  A kaleidocycle is a flexible fidget toy that can be continually turned inside-out, with each rotation showing a new pattern!  We'll be coloring mandala patterns on ours and then assembling them, with the help of our awesome teen volunteers!

Drop by beginning at 4:00.  We'll clean up together at 5:15!

For kids in kindergarten and up.

Teen Watercolor Zentangles

Come relax at EB Create for a meditative painting session!

We will be making watercolor zentangles, as seen on social media. In this method, we will paint shapes or abstract patterns, keeping brushstrokes and negative space as even as possible. The activity has a similar effect on the brain as meditation. Available to Grades 6+.

No registration required -- please arrive 15 minutes prior to reserve your spot.

Teen Pride Raffle Begins

Pick up a Pride Raffle Reading Log at the Teen Services or Youth Services Desks.

Read books written by an LGBTQIA+ author or featuring an LGBTQIA+ character or storyline. Check out our Read with Pride recommendations (but participants may include other books on their sheet).

For each book you’ve read, get one raffle ticket towards a chance to win a grand prize: goodies from Barne's and Noble's Pride Collection, and a $25 gift card.

Learn about NJ's Lead Remediation & Abatement Program

Meet with staff from Garden State Home in the library's lobby to learn about the dangers of lead poisoning and find out if your home may be eligible for free testing and treatment under the New Jersey Lead Remediation and Abatement Program (LRAP).

Lead-based paint hazards exist in most homes built prior to 1978 and can be especially harmful to children and pregnant women.
