Summer Scratch Coding for 3-5th gr. (In-person)

Summer Scratch Coding is held on four Wednesdays (11-12pm) from 7/9 to 7/30 in library's computer lab

Scratch is a block-based coding program which is easy to learn and the projects are fun to spark the interest.

This session is targeted to new-beginners who have no experience in Scratch.

If you are interested in joining and can attend all 4 Wednesdays, please fill out the registration form which will be opened to access on June 4  (limited to 12 kids).

Wave Goodbye to Summer

Kids in kindergarten and up are invited to join the staff of NJ4S for this end of summer celebration with guided journaling and fun crafts!  

Supplies and light refreshments will be provided.  This month's informational health and wellness resources focus on techniques to help you continue your new journaling practice.

Tie-Dye Emotions

Kids in kindergarten and up are invited to join the staff of NJ4S for this fun, messy event!  We will be using tie dye to create beautiful, colorful pillowcases!  Tie dye definitely stains, so please do not wear your finest clothing.  

Supplies and light refreshments will be provided.  This month's informational health and wellness resources focus on emotional regulation.

Chalk & Bubbles Party

Families with kids of all ages are invited to join the staff of NJ4S for an hour of outdoor activities with sidewalk chalk, crafts, and bubbles!  If the weather does not cooperate with us, we will have an indoor event instead.

Sensory Power Hour

Families with kids of all ages are invited to join the staff of NJ4S for a hands-on hour of fun with fidget toys, sand trays, and slime!

NJ4S is a prevention program that supports youth mental wellness and can connect students and their parents/caregivers with other community resources beneficial to social, emotional, and mental health and well-being, including clinical and non-clinical resources.
