K-2 

The Rockfish Kids Book 

Kids Entering Kindergarten to 2nd Grade 

Program Run by TLC (Teen Library Connection) Volunteers 

Wednesdays, August 3, August 10, August 17; 2:00PM-2:45 PM 

A reading and learning experience about The Rockfish Kids Book, an informational book about marine life for children entering grades K-2. 

If children wish to attend multiple weeks, they must bring their workbook from the previous class. Limited to 7 new students each week. 

Sand Laboratory

Learn all about sand from around the country using hand lenses and microscopes! 

Seating is limited; admission tickets will be distributed the day of the event. 

For students entering grades K-4. 

Ocean Waves

Explore what makes the ocean move through hands on activites and demonstrations from a Rutgers University scientist. 

Seating is limited; admission ticket will be distributed the day of the event. 

This event is outdoors weather permitting. For students entering grades K-4. 

Brain Bunch Part 2

Brain Bunch: The Brain Bunch teaches students all about the brain through cool, exciting demonstrations. We will learn how to construct electrical brain networks using snap circuits, explore how the brain works using optical illusions, and observe a real sheep brain! Grades 2-8.
