An online Chess club for Beginners will be held with 8 Zoom meetings on every Thursday @ 4-5 p.m starting June 2nd,2022.
We will go through the curriculum from Chesskid.com, watching videos and solving puzzles.
This club is targeted to 2nd grader and above with no prior experience in playing chess.
After 8 meetings, participants should know the basic rules and tactics of playing chess.
If you are interested in joining, please fill out the registration form.
Stop by the children's department to grab a kit with supplies needed to make salt dough fossils. This project is recommended for children in grades 1+. As supplies last.
Join us for a relaxing Saturday crafternoon. We'll be making paper plate dreamcatchers! This program is for children in grades 1+. Space is limited and spots are not guaranteed, so please arrive early.
Kids entering kindergarten and up can make a cute creature using a shell and other craft supplies. Please register beginning July 27 by calling the Youth Services Department at 732-390-6789.

Tips and Tricks for Building (ages 9-17)
The class will cover the basics of Minecraft, starting your own survival and creative worlds, movement, crafting items, building, mining, farming, etc.
Students will either need to have Minecraft installed on their own laptops which they bring to class.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to run Minecraft on a Chromebook.

Brain Bunch: The Brain Bunch teaches students all about the brain through cool, exciting demonstrations. We will learn how to construct electrical brain networks using snap circuits, explore how the brain works using optical illusions, and observe a real sheep brain! Grades 2-8.
