2024 NATIONAL MEDAL
for Museum and Library Service Finalist

School Age

Mad Science: Digging for Dinos!

For ages 3, 4, 5, and 6 with an adult.

Registration for this event is full, but we may be able to accept standbys if anyone who is registered does not show up.  Please stop by the Youth Services desk a few minutes before the event starts to ask about attending as a standby.

Kids are introduced to the differences between meat-eating and plant-eating animals. They have the opportunity to look at some dinosaur teeth up close and work as paleontologists, by participating in a mini dinosaur dig that engages their attention and helps them improve their scientific knowledge.

Eat Right!

Making good food choices is a life skill that can affect your physical and mental well-being.  Learn some strategies for eating well from Laurie Herrick, a health educator from the Middlesex County Office of Health Services.  For children entering kindergarten & up with an adult.
