Kids entering grade 1-5 can learn about the eye, how we see, and why our eyes are so easily tricked. They will also discover that water drops can mimic lenses, which can be used to magnify or shrink images. The use of mirrors in optical illusions is easily understood after students build their own periscopes.

Kids in grades K-12 can participate in Read, Create, Participate to engage with poetry, think about Earth Day-related topics, and earn a small reward!

We will go through the Carnegie Mellon University's CS Academy's program: Introduction to programming with Python Unit 1.
